Breeding Season Rules + Info

Please keep in mind the following rules.

While they are listed in general terms,

they are liable to change without notice or warning.

Do not ask to use Minoans that are not listed on the stud form.
- If a user wanted to publicly stud out their Minoan, they would add it.
- In the case of "semi-private" (friend to friend) breeding, the Minoans do not have to be listed on the stud page to be used.
- Consider these transactions private use.
- Do not attempt any unwarranted solicitations. You can, and will, receive a strike for instances like this.
Read requirements of stud slots before requesting.
- Some users have personal rules for the use of their Minoans. Be sure to read them before reaching out to ask for permission.
Don't pay for any stud slot until the pairing is approved.
- While Stud slots must be paid before an artist will begin the calf, you must have approval from your requested artist before paying for the stud slot. This is to prevent any payments being sent if a Minoan is, for some reason, found to be ineligible.
Each Minoan is allowed 3 total slots per season.
- This includes personal, private and public slots.
- Example: I sell one slot and use one slot for myself. The Minoan has one slot remaining.
Each User is allowed 5 Calves total per season.
- Sire slots that are purchased FROM you for someone else's result does not count to your calf count.
- Your calf count is solely based on YOUR results. The calves YOU end up with.
If you are blocked, you cannot use that person's minoan.
- Unfortunately, this is how blocks are designed. We will not allow circumventions in order to receive permission to use a Minoan. Approval must come directly from the owner.
Don't degrade the experience of others.
- Bullying, Harassment, Begging, Whining, and other forms of ill-behavior will not be tolerated.
- If you are experiencing issues with another user, start a ticket with the admin team.
Gender does not matter in Minoan breeding.
- The breeding season is based almost entirely in Magic from the Mother Goddess. She does not define love through bodies.
Do not upload your own Minoans through Toyhou.se.
- Minoans will originate from the Minoans official toyhou.se in order to make sure initial prices are being set correctly.
- Once they are uploaded, they will be immediately transferred to you.

The process for securing a breeding is as follows:
- Select two Minoans: It does not matter who owns them, so long as permission for use is granted and they have slots.
- Get Owner Permission: This can be skipped if they both belong to you. Written permission is needed.
- Submit Breeding form for Approval.

Information Required in Breeding Form
- Minoans being used.
- Permission from owners.
- Chosen Artist. You can also choose "either," and we will discuss who would do the pair best between ourselves.
- Will items be used? (Yes or No is fine. Your artist will discuss your items with you.)

Once your form is approved by your artist, you will need to show your artist proof of payment to stud owners.
You will then be added to their queue.

The process for breeding your Minoans is as follows:
Artist will contact you when it is your turn in their queue.
Artist will discuss gender, tribe, and initial item use with you, if Items are being used.
- These include items such as trait security, buying traits, etc.
After this information is gathered, the artist will roll your traits.
Traits have the following change of passing from parents
- Common: 8 in 10
- Rare: 6 in 10
- Mythic: 4 in 10
- Fabled: 2 in 10
- Abnormality: 1 in 10
- Piety: 1 in 10
- Parental: 1 in 10
After traits have been received, they may be rerolled one time for free.
- Second and Third rerolls are $5 each. Third reroll is permanent.
- Rerolls will reroll the entire group of traits, not just specific ones.
- Secured traits and denied traits will not be affected by rerolls.
- Pssst! : This is a great way to get a specific trait of choice from limited pools, like piety and parental, or to try again if a chance item doesn't work. If you didn't get the piety trait you wanted on the first try, you can reroll traits again to try once more for free.
After the final trait list is decided upon, the Artist will ask if any other items want to be used.
- This is the best time to use items like bag of coins, I'liin'onln's eyepatch, etc.
- This is also the best time to add in any common, rare, or mythic traits you would like that did not pass in breeding.
Once the list is completely finalized, you will pay the remaining balance (Artist fee, Items fee, etc.) and the artist will begin work on your Minoan.
If you do not like your completed result: You may reroll one additional time for the $30 artist fee. In doing this, you are forfeiting the original result back to the artist. The artist may then choose to give this design away, keep it, resell it, or add it to a gacha pool. The second result will be a "redo" of the design; as in, starting from scratch with the finalized list of traits. It will have all of the same traits as the result before it.
The second result you receive is permanent and will be the final result of the breeding.

Do my Minoans need to be listed on the form for me to breed them?
- The form is for public solicitations. If you're only interested in breeding them to your other Minoans, or want to set up breedings privately between friends, they do not need to be posted.
Do my Minoans have to have a fee?
- No! They can be listed for any price between $0 and $20. Please note, however, that many minoans will be up for studding, and slots are limited. Overpricing them may get you no bites.
What happens if we guarantee 2 traits that take up the same slot? (ie: securing 2 different tails)
- This is not possible, unless a "double" abnormality has also been secured.
Can we choose offspring tribe, and can we choose a tribe that isn’t one of the parents?
- You can choose between the two tribes for parents. This is discussed initially with your artist.
- For tribes the parents do not belong to, an item must be used.
Can we choose a patron deity?
- Yes! This will come up in tribe selection. If you do not have a preference, we will assign one to the design at our discretion.
Can we secure a tribe specific common trait, but switch to a different tribe?
- Tribes are chosen prior to traits being rolled, so this is not allowed.
Can we choose aesthetics for breeding results?
- The short answer: no.
- If you were looking for a "Starry Moon Priestess" aesthetic, your best plan of action would be to:
  - Guarantee a tribe where Elu'mani is a deity.
  - Choose Elu'mani as a Patron God prior to traits being rolled.
  - Secure traits that may give that vibe (Stargazer eyes, Glowing Horns, Birdcatcher Spots, etc.)
  - Use parents with the "vibes" you are looking for.
- This, however, does NOT guarantee any aesthetics.
- Your best option if you are looking for something specific, is to order a custom.
- Nothing says you can't change the vibes yourself, though! If you want to redraw clothes, paint, etc, you are free to. The physical design must stay the same, though, unless otherwise discussed with admins.

Artist Fee: $30.
- This includes: One free trait reroll, Calf on 2024 Lines.

Rerolls
- Pre-Draw Rerolls: First is free, Second is $5, Third is $5 and Permanent.
- After-Draw: $30, one time only. You do not retain ownership of first design.
Other User's Minoan Sire Fee:
- Between $0 and $20 per Minoan.
- See individual Minoans for Pricing.
Consort Slots.
- Each user may claim ONE slot to a single consort per season.
- Consort Fee is $20 for use.
Pricing Example:
- I use another user's Minoan for $10, a Consort for $20, and I use $30 in items.
- $10 + $20 + $30 + $30 = $90.
- $10 goes to the owner of the sire, and $80 to the artist.
